ABOUT US
OUR MISSION
We strive to provide accurate assessment, comprehensive results, and a caring and compassionate approach. We use our specialized knowledge of brain function and psychological assessment to ensure that you or your child gets appropriate treatment and accommodations to be successful.
OUR HISTORY
During their experience working together at a local hospital, neuropsychologists, Dr. Krista Damann and Dr. Tanya Grace realized that many people are struggling with attention disorders, but their issues were either undetected or misdiagnosed. As a solution to this problem they collaborated to develop the ADHD/Learning Program at Penfield Psychiatry in 2016 and in 2018 they expanded the services offered to include testing for learning disabilities, psychological evaluations, and forensic evaluations. In 2024, Dr.’s Damann and Grace established their own neuropsychological assessment practice, the Neurobehavioral Center of Rochester, and moved to a new location with plans to further expand the range of evaluations and treatment provided.
OUR UNIQUE EXPERTISE
Our program is unique because of the additional expertise Dr.’s Damann and Grace have as board certified neuropsychologists to ensure accurate diagnosis for even the most complex cases. Neuropsychologists are experts in brain- behavior function that receive several years of specialized training after completing their doctorate degree in neuroanatomy, brain functioning, brain pathology, and cognitive assessment. This results in greater knowledge and understanding of different conditions that can impact thinking skills, such as attention, memory, and learning, as well as a broader repertoire of assessment tools at their disposal.
