Payment and Fees
Under most insurance plans, neuropsychological testing services are not considered to be medically necessary for educational or occupational purposes, such as to evaluate for ADHD and/or learning disabilities. As a result, evaluations are billed as self pay. In order to help you defray costs we can provide a super-bill upon request that allows you to work directly with your insurance for reimbursement of select services (typically the clinical interview and feedback sessions). We do not directly bill your insurance company for testing or therapy services.
The evaluation must be paid in-full prior to your first appointment.
In some cases the student’s school district may cover the cost of the evaluation if the services are needed and cannot be provided by the school; policies may differ by school district, so please consult them for more information.
* Range is based on volume of records requested to review
Scheduling
We offer mostly night-time and weekend appointments, which helps patients to avoid missing work or school. Although, weekday appointments can be provided. We are also able to accommodate a mix of in-person and telehealth visits based on preference, although all testing visits are conducted in person (intake and feedback can be done via telehealth).
Cancellation Policy
A 24 hour notice is required for cancellation, and 48 hours is preferred. You may be subject to a cancellation fee ranging from $50-$100 if you provide less than 24 hour notice or no-show for your appointment. Note: there is a separate cancellation policy for forensic evaluations.
